Wohl Central Hall

Since 1769, members of the Royal Academy of Arts have welcomed artists and the general public to their annual Exhibition. This year’s Summer Exhibition Committee want to emphasise the role the Royal Academy has always played in reaching out to and including the wider world and in this first gallery, the celebration of diversity and welcome is evident. Here are sculptures, neons, paintings and photographs. Abstracts, landscapes, words and figures share the same space, as artists from all over the world are brought together in a vibrant visual conversation. They demonstrate that art is a universal language that connects us across borders.
